Sabrina Whiting of the women's basketball team has been named the Embry-Riddle Female Athlete of the Week for Nov. 6-12 after leading the Eagles to a 2-0 start to the season. For Whiting, this marks her first weekly award of the season and eighth of her career. The senior averaged 15 points and 4.5 rebounds per game in ERAU's two wins at the Regional Tip-Off Challenge. Whiting scored 19 points and added nine rebounds and three assists in the Eagles' 68-58 win over Christian Brothers on Friday, and followed that up with 11 points and two steals in a 59-45 victory over West Alabama.
