Merari Coronado of the women's track & field team has been named Embry-Riddle's Female Athlete of the Week for Nov. 27-Dec. 3. For Coronado, this is her first weekly award of the season and of her career. The freshman broke the school record in the shot put, placing second in the event with a mark of 14.02m at this weekend's Birmingham-Southern College Panther Indoor Icebreaker meet.
