Tara Fields of the women's basketball team has been named the Embry-Riddle Female Athlete of the Week for Dec. 4-10 after leading the Eagles to a pair of wins over Florida Southern and Flagler. For Fields, this marks her second weekly award of the season and fourth of her career. The senior averaged 21.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game, including a 21-point, 12-rebound effort in ERAU's 69-66 win over Flagler. Fields also tallied 22 points and five boards in the Eagles' 72-70 win at Florida Southern.
