Morgan Ackermann of the women's basketball team has been named the Embry-Riddle's Female Athlete of the Week for Jan. 15-21. For Ackermann, this marks the first weekly award of her career. The junior scored 19 points in just 20 minutes off the bench to help the Eagles to a 71-69 win over Florida Tech on Wednesday. Ackermann was perfect from the floor, going 6-of-6 from the field and 4-of-4 from behind the 3-point line, while also grabbing four rebounds.
