Tara Fields of the women's basketball team has been named the Embry-Riddle's Female Athlete of the Week for March 5-11. For Fields, this marks her fourth weekly award of the season and sixth of her career. The senior averaged 16 points and 5.5 rebounds per game in ERAU's two games this week. Fields posted a team-high 13 points and six rebounds in ERAU's 57-54 win over Eckerd in the NCAA II South Region Quarterfinals, leading the Eagles to their first-ever NCAA Tournament victory. The next day, Fields led the team with 19 points and pulled down five boards in ERAU's season-ending loss to Union.
