Katy Thompson of the softball team has been named the Embry-Riddle Female Athlete of the Week for March 19-25. For Thompson, this marks her first weekly award of the season and of her career. Thompson went 12-for-16 with two doubles, four runs scored, six RBIs, and two stolen bases this week. She was 6-for-6 with a double, five RBIs, three runs scored, and two steals in a doubleheader sweep of Columbus State on Wednesday. Thompson also racked up six hits in 10 ABs in ERAU's three-game series with Tampa over the weekend.
