Melanie Canfield of the women's volleyball team has been named the Tijuana Flats Female Athlete of the Week for September 9-15. For Canfield, this marks her first weekly award of the season and second of her career. The junior set a program single-match record with a .739 attack percentage in a 3-0 win over Lees-McRae in ERAU's season opener on Friday. For the weekend, Canfield hit .385 with a team-leading 59 kills and 66.5 points to lead the Eagles to a perfect 4-0 mark at the Flagler Saints Classic.
