Sydney Jones of the women's basketball team is the Tijuana Flats Female Athlete of the Week for Jan. 6-12. For Jones, this marks her first weekly award of the season and of her career. Jones, a sophomore from Royal Palm Beach, Florida, averaged 7.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 3.5 steals in ERAU's two contests this week. She recorded a career-best five steals to go along with 11 points and four rebounds against Eckerd on Saturday.
