Jayla Jackson of the softball team is the Tijuana Flats Female Athlete of the Week for Jan. 27-Feb. 2. For Jackson, this marks her first weekly award of the season and fourth of her career. Jackson, a senior from Belleville, Michigan, tossed the third no-hitter in program history on Saturday against Savannah State, striking out 13 and walking just one. She also went 1-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and two RBIs against Claflin in the second game that day.
