Jayla Jackson of the softball team is the Tijuana Flats Female Athlete of the Week for March 2-8. For Jackson, this marks her second weekly award of the season and fifth of her career. Jackson, a senior from Belleville, Michigan, tossed the fourth no-hitter in program history, and her second one of the season, on Tuesday against Queens, striking out 10 and walking four. For the week, Jackson went 3-0 in four starts with a 2.58 ERA and 23 Ks in 19 innings of work.
