Sophia Gustely of the Embry-Riddle women's track & field team is this week's ERAU Female Athlete of the Week. Gustely, a native of Coconut Creek, Florida, broke her own school record in the javelin on Saturday at the 2021 Eagle Invitational, registering a throw of 41.66m, bettering the mark she set in 2019. Gustely also set a personal record in the discus with a toss of 41.77m. This mark's Gustely's first career Embry-Riddle Athlete of the Week honor.
