Marianna Pezzella of the women's soccer team is the Embry-Riddle Female Athlete of the Week for the first time this season and in her career. The freshman defender led the women's soccer team to a pair of wins this week with a goal and an assist. Playing in her first collegiate game on Wednesday, Pezzella assisted on the first goal of the game in a 2-1 victory over No. 16 Palm Beach Atlantic. Then on Saturday, she scored the lone goal of a 1-0 win over Lynn.
