Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Athletics

Anita Agustsdottir of the women's soccer team is the Embry-Riddle Female Athlete of the Week for the first time this season and in her career. The senior was named the Sunshine State Conference Tournament MVP after leading the Blue and Gold to its second consecutive SSC Tournament title this week. Agustsdottir assisted on the game-tying goal against Rollins in the semifinal and also scored the game-winning goal in the penalty kick shootout of that game that earned ERAU a trip to the championship. She was instrumental in the 1-0 win over Florida Tech in the title game, anchoring a back line that helped secure the sixth shutout of the season for the Eagles.
