Sam Lanning of the Embry-Riddle volleyball team is the Tijuana Flats Feale Athlete of the Week for the first time this season and second time in herEagle career. The junior from Norcross broke the program's single-season blocks record at the NCAA II South Region Championship this weekend, finishing the season with 174 total blocks. Lanning tallied six kills and four blocks while hitting .444 in a 3-0 sweep of Lynn in the first round on Thursday and posted five kills and seven blocks while hitting .364 in a season-ending 3-1 defeat to No. 5 West Florida in the regional semifinals on Friday.
