Lia Johnson of the Embry-Riddle softball team is the Tijuana Flats Female Athlete of the Week for the first time this year, and for the first time in her career. Johnson, a senior outfielder from Panama City Beach, Florida, was a perfect 3-for-3 on Saturday for ERAU in its win against Georgia Southwestern State in the 2022 season opener. Johnson scored both the game-tying and game-winning runs for the Blue and Gold, also swiping three bases, and drawing a walk. Johnson's three stolen bases tied an Embry-Riddle single-game record.
