NCAA II National Champion Ukeyvia Beckwith is named the Tijuana Flats Female Athlete of the Week for the ninth and final time in her Embry-Riddle career. Beckwith capped her illustrious collegiate career with the NCAA II national title in the 800m at the Outdoor Track & Field Championships over the weekend. Bekcwith entered as the favorite to win the event with the fastest time in NCAA II this season. After cruising to second place in Friday's preliminary round, Beckwith, racing out of lane eight took control of the lead at the 400-meter mark and never looked back. She won the race in 2:06.73, more than a second ahead of the second-place finisher to bring the first NCAA II title back to Daytona Beach.
