Sheahan has been a member of the ERAU women's soccer program since 2018, and has helped the Eagles to back-to-back-to-back Sunshine State Conference tournament crowns, as well as two consecutive SSC regular season championships. The Wellington, Florida native has appeared in 61 games, garnering 40 starts and playing 4,200 minutes for the Blue and Gold. Sheahan has scored seven goals, including two game-winners while leading the Eagles to three consecutive trips to the NCAA II National Tournament, including a Sweet 16 appearance in 2019.

Sheahan is a five-time Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll recipient, a D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award winner, an Eagles of Excellence Scholarship recipient, and the 2020 winner of the Dr. Robert and Jean Brown Women's Soccer Scholarship. Sheahan has excelled in the classroom, earning her degree in Mechanical Engineering and pursuing her MBA, carrying a 3.76 undergrad GPA en route to Magna Cum Laude and Honors, and currently holds a perfect 4.0 GPA in graduate school. Sheahan has also completed three internships with Northrop Grumman in preparation for future career success, and this coming summer will be interning at Boeing in the Flight Test Engineering department,

In addition to her excellence on the pitch and in the classroom, Sheahan also serves as the Embry-Riddle Student Government Association President, becoming just the third Embry-Riddle student-athlete to serve in that capacity. Sheahan served as SGA Treasurer before being elected SGA President in the spring of 2022. She was a founding member of the Dance Marathon Student Organization at ERAU, and was awarded the Student Involvement Award for Academic Excellence in 2021.

"When Savanna became a member of the women's soccer team in 2018, she immediately stood out, her drive and determination to succeed was evident, even as a freshman," ERAU Head Women's Soccer Coach Liam McIlhatton said. "Although Savannah is a very talented athlete, her work ethic is what sets her apart from other talented athletes. Savanna has made a major contribution on the soccer field, but you could argue that she has made an even bigger impact on the Embry-Riddle student body and Daytona Beach campus. She is respected and valued, not only by students, but also by the faculty and staff. It is truly remarkable that she can maintain such a high level in everything she does. Savanna is everything you could ask for when looking for an example of what it takes to be a Student, Person, Player and I am a very lucky coach to have her in our program."
