Laura Cuesta Bret is the Embry-Riddle Female Athlete of the Week for the first time after she went undefeated, defeating the No. 1 doubles duo in the nation 6-4 and winning 6-2, 6-1 against No. 61 singles player at the No. 3 singles against No. 1 Nova Southeastern, as well winning 6-1 in the No. 1 doubles and winning 6-7(7-0), 6-2, (10-5 tiebreaker) against No. 24 singles player against No. 1 Barry.
