Nicole Bonk Dominates Race Walk at National Championships

Nicole Bonk began competing in the Race Walk event in 2011. As a sophomore that season, she earned All-America honors in the 5K Race Walk after taking sixth place at the NAIA National Outdoor Championships. A year later, she entered the NAIA National Indoor Championship 3,000m Race Walk field as the top seed and blew away the competition, finishing 36 seconds ahead of the second place walker to win the NAIA Indoor national title.
