THE OPENING TIP
• Embry-Riddle and Florida College will be playing for the 17th time with ERAU holding a 16-0 all-time advantage.
• The Blue and Gold began its final NAIA season on Saturday before the department's transition to the NCAA II and the Sunshine State Conference.
• Embry-Riddle had three players in double-figures on Saturday, led by newcomer Joseph Gonzalez's 18 points.
• The Eagles No. 13 preseason ranking marks the sixth straight season the Eagles have been ranked in the preseason national poll.
• Tuesday's contest marks ERAU Head Coach Steve Ridder's 836th career game.

THE EAGLES

Embry-Riddle opened its final NAIA season in style on Saturday, defeating Sterling, 87-45 in the ICI Center to move to 1-0 on the young season. The Eagles trailed just once in the early-going on Saturday, cruising to the victory thanks to 45 points off of Sterling turnovers.

ERAU got 18 points from newcomer Joseph Gonzalez to lead the way on Saturday, as the Eagles shot nearly 53 percent from the floor (32-for-61) with 41 points coming from the bench. Joining Gonzalez in double-figures were Cesar Pastrana with 11 and DeForest Carter with 10.

SCOUTING FLORIDA COLLEGE
Florida College, under the direction of Head Coach Jim Romkey, enters tonight's cotnest having played four games, all against Sun Conference competition. The Falcons hosted Warner on Monday evening after the printing of this program.

The Falcons went 16-19 last season, a record that included a pair of losses to Embry-Riddle. So far this season, FC dropped its season opener, 85-67 to Southeastern before losing 78-55 to Warner. The Falcons went on the road to down Webber International 81-75 on Nov. 4.

IN HONOR OF OUR VETERANS
In honor of Veteran's Day, the Embry-Riddle Athletics Department will be taking time to honor members of the armed forces for their service to the United States during tonight's game.

Prior to the start of Tuesday's game, the Athletics administration will recognize Captain Tom MacDougall. MacDougall worked at Embry-Riddle from 1997-2007, but prior to that he was a pilot in the Air Force during the Vietnam War.
At halftime tonight, all those who have served and are currently serving in the armed forces will be recognized at mid-court.
