THE EAGLES
The seventh-ranked Embry-Riddle women's tennis team is back in action after a 10-day hiatus. The Eagles are 3-3 on they and 2-0 in league play with The Sun Conference wins against St. Thomas and eighth-ranked Northwood.
 
Freshman Paula Ortiz Couder leads the Eagles in dual match play with a 5-1 singles record. Senior Kristina Marova and sophomore Hui-I Huang are 12-3 overall in doubles, including g a 4-2 mark in dual matches.

CUMBERLAND
The 18th-ranked Cumberland women's tennis team improved to 3-1 on the year with a 9-0 shutout of Martin Methodist on March 9. The Lady Bulldogs are led by 38th-ranked Alena Gizdic. Gizdic and Angelica Sepulveda are also ranked 18th in the national doubles poll.

THE ERAU-CU SERIES
Tuesday's contest marks the first meeting between the Embry-Riddle and Cumberland women's tennis teams.

EAGLES IN THE RANKINGS
The Eagles are ranked seventh in the NAIA Women's Tennis Coaches' Top 25 poll, marking the sixth consecutive season that ERAU Women's Tennis is ranked among the nation's top 10. Two ERAU student-athletes are featured in the ITA/NAIA singles rankings as sophomore Hui-I Huang is ranked ninth and senior Kristina Marova is ranked 27th. Huang and Marova are ranked No. 1 in the national doubles poll.
