@ERAUWGolf Competes at GolfRank Invitational

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle women's golf team participated in the 12th annual GolfRank Invitational hosted by Nova Southeastern at PGA National's Champion Course. The Eagles are currently in 11th place after shooting 637 (322-315) over the first two rounds.
 
Lauren Thielen had the low score for the Blue and Gold, shooting a 80 in the first round and a 72 for a total of 152. Daniela Pena shot a 153 (76-77), Marlena Weatherly shot a 161 (79-82), and both Megan Pollenz (90-82) and Kelley Harris (87-85) shot a 172.
 
"Our first 36/18 tourney starter today." Head Coach Maria Lopez said. "Good Improvements form the start of the season. Struggled a little to find our rhythm but we are on our way. Lots learned and improved today. Everyone had comebacks today. Good grit today."
 
The Eagles will wrap up play at the GolfRank Invitational tomorrow.
