MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - Georgia College completed a three-game sweep of the Embry-Riddle baseball team on Sunday, winning the series finale 19-2.
The Eagles actually scored first when
Justin Franklin scored on a throwing error by the Bobcat catcher in the second, but the lead didn't stand up as the Bobcats got to ERAU starter
Matthew Russell for four runs in the third and four more in the fourth before Russell came out for
Quinn Bourque.
The Eagle staff couldn't stop the bleeding as GC registered 20 hits en route to the 17-run win.
The Eagles (3-7) dropped their fifth straight game and will look to rebound next weekend against Rollins in Winter Park.
