Sarah Edens claims her third consecutive Sunshine State Conference Runner of the Week award for Embry-Riddle women's cross country, while
Teddy West becomes the first ERAU men's soccer player to earn SSC Offensive Player of the Week accolades.
Edens, a junior from Gainesville, ran the sixth-fastest 5K time in program history at the Queen City Invitational on Friday, finishing ninth overall in 17:49. Edens helped lead the Eagles to the non-D1 crown at the meet, and the first win over a NCAA II ranked squad as ERAU finished ahead of host and No. 18 Queens (N.C.).
West, a midfielder from from Brighton, England, scored a pair of goals this week. He notched his first goal of the season on Wednesday against Eckerd and added another goal in ERAU's 2-2 tie with Barry on Saturday. West is second on the team with six points through seven games for the Blue and Gold.
