DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle women's tennis team of

Soares and Krvajica received a bye in the first round and faced Flagler's Felicitas Runkel and Camila Ramzzini in their first match. The ERAU tandem rebounded after falling behind 5-3 to top the Flagler pair 7-6. Their next match saw Soares and Krvajica overcome another 5-3 deficit to best Saint Leo's Nastasia Jedrychowski and Georgia Dobell 7-6 (8-6), but the championship match proved easy in comparison to their first two contests as the Eagle duo breezed past Rollins' Carlye Goldman and Savanna Fuller 6-1 to win the flight.
Georgina Wood and
Alexis Marshall also made it the championship match in their flight with wins over Stetson's Olivia Talbert and Megan Horwits (6-1) and Florida A&M's Karen Machisa and Rakotondrazaty (6-2).
