DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. –The Embry-Riddle men's lacrosse team wrapped up its inaugural season with a loss to Florida Southern on Saturday, falling to the Moccasins 15-3 at the ERAU Lacrosse Field. The Eagles finish the year at 1-12 overall and 0-7 in the Sunshine State Conference, while Florida Southern improved to 8-7 and 3-2.
The Mocs did all the scoring in the first quarter as a pair of goals by Lucas Claude helped the visitors to a 5-0 lead at the end of the first 15 minutes of play. The Eagles recorded the first tally of the second quarter on an unassisted goal by
Kyle Dalrymple at the 13:07 mark, but the Mocs responded with a 4-0 run and at the half, the FSC lead was 9-1.

Ian Heggblod for ERAU's second goal of the afternoon. FSC answered with another four-goal spurt to go up 14-2, and a goal apiece by Dalrymple and the Mocs' Andrew Pineda accounted for the final 15-3 tally.
Claude led all scorers with three goals and an assist, while Dalrymple tallied a team-high two goals for the Blue and Gold.
Mario Cartisano got his fifth start in goal for the Eagles and went the distance, finishing with 11 saves in the loss.
