Lydia Carter saw the Eagles fall to 11th-ranked Saint Leo, 6-2, in a Sunshine State Conference match-up.
The Eagles are now 6-12 overall and 1-8 in SSC play. Saint Leo is 14-5 on the year and the Lions own a 5-3 conference record.
The first point of the day went to the Eagles as ERAU's top-flight tandem of Bock and
Maria Turrillo and took down 16
th-ranked Maja Pindelska and Madeleine Gauthier 8-2. At No. 2 doubles, Robert Krvajica and
Georgina Wood raced out to a 5-0 lead, but Marta Vicens Miquel and Andrada Gordon erased the deficit to win 8-6. At the third position, Sophie Vlietstra and Kristyna Jurkova held off Carter and Sabrina Ehrenfort 8-6 to give the Lions a 2-1 advantage heading into doubles.
Gordan won Saint Leo's first singles point with a 6-2, 6-0 win over Bock on court five. Jurkova followed with a 6-1, 6-3 win over Krvajica on court two and 19
th-ranked Miquel topped Turrillo 6-4, 6-3 to clinch the Lion victory.
Carter led Vlietstra 4-3 before retiring with an injury and Ehrenfort tallied the lone singles point for ERAU, defeating Cardenas 6-4, 6-2 at the fourth spot.
The Blue and Gold will wrap up conference play at 1 p.m. on Sunday when they travel to West Palm Beach to face Palm Beach Atlantic.
