RESULTS
MIAMI SHORES, Fla. - The 2019 Buccaneer Invitational concluded on Tuesday as the Embry-Riddle women's golf team shot a final-round 305 to finish 14th overall (303-308-305=916). The Eagles' 54-hole total of 916 bettered their last 54-hole tournament score of 918 at the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational, a score that marks the team's best since the fall of 2011.
The Senator Course at Shula's Golf Club served as the site of the Buccaneer Invitational, hosted by Barry, and a trio of Eagles finished the 17-team event with 54-hole personal best scores, led by
Camila Sierra. Sierra shot a 76 on Tuesday, finishing with a 227 (76-75-76) for the tournament, tying her best 54-hole score.
Following Sierra,
Kelly Harris had the best final round for the Blue and Gold, shooting a 74 for a 228 (74-80-74) three-round total. For Harris, her 228 broke her career-best 54-hole score by four strokes.
Megan Pollenz (76-78-75=229) joined Sierra with all three rounds in the 70s, while
Olivia Whitten went 77-75-80=232 to post her best-ever 54-hole score and round out the Eagle scorers.
Natalie Brooks (82-82-83=247) also competed for Embry-Riddle as the team posted their best-ever score at the Buccaneer Invitational. The Eagles finished ahead of NCAA II No. 19 Southwest Oklahoma State (921) by five strokes.

Maria Lopez said. "We're building momentum, knocking off some ranked teams and grooving the process. I'm loving it!"
Host Barry (862) won the tournament, with Florida Tech (871), Arkansas Tech (875), Lynn (879), Nova Southeastern (883)Â and Keiser (883) rounding out the top-five.
The Eagles will wrap up the 2018-19 regular season when they host the Bash at the Beach on April 6-7 at LPGA International.
