NEW ORLEANS - The Embry-Riddle cross country teams got it done in the classroom, as well as on the course. Both teams and seven individuals (four women and three men) were named to the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Academic honor roll. Both squads earned the required 3.0 team GPA and scored points at the regional championship to earn USTFCCCA Scholar Team distinction, and all seven individual honorees have a 3.25 cumulative GPA and finished in the top-30 percent of the NCAA II South Region meet.
The women's team posted a 3.3 GPA under Head Coach

Sarah Edens (Civil Engineering),
Kara Funke (Human Factors Psychology),
Josie Gray (Master's in Civil Engineering) and
Alyssa Zack (Engineering) claiming USTFCCCA Academic Honor Roll distinction.
On the men's side, the Eagles posted a 3.19 GPA as a squad and
Tanner Rosolino (Aerospace Engineering),
Ryan Szklany (Civil Engineering) and Clahan Warren (Aerospace Physiology) etching their names on the Academic team.
