MIAMI LAKES, Florida - The Embry-Riddle women's golf team began its final tournament of the 2021-22 regular season on Monday, firing a 637 (323-314) over 36 holes at the Senator Course at Shula's Golf Club.

ERAU sits in 11th as a team, having moved up from 12th after the first round. ERAU's 314 in the second round on Monday is the eighth-best round score of the campaign for the Blue and Gold.

All four of ERAU's scorers on Monday finished within two shots of each other, led by Kelly Harris' 158 (82-76). Harris' second-round 76 was the lowest Eagle round of the day, and she sits in a tie for 42nd overall.

Millie Lawson is just one shot back of Harris at 159 (80-79), while Sophia Dieter (80-80) and Mackenzie Dieter (81-79) both fired 160s on Monday.

Reni Jancsik shaved five strokes off her first round score in her final 18 of the day, finishing at 169 (87-82) while also competing for ERAU. The Eagles also sent two individuals to the 76-player event in Brigitte Clements (80-90=170), and Paula Valdivia (84-89=173).

"We had a nice little bounce back in round two today," Head Coach Maria Lopez said. "The green speed and winds were very challenging. I'm proud of our decision making and stick-to-it-ness, and we are building good momentum heading into the final round tomorrow, and then the postseason."

Host school Barry (592) leads the way in the 13-team tournament, followed by Tampa (595), Nova Southeastern (598), Saint Leo (605), and Florida Southern (606). The Eagles sit 16 shots in front of SSC foes Eckerd (653) and Palm Beach Atlantic (655).

The third and final round of the tournament is set for tomorrow.
