2024 Embry-Riddle Eagles Baseball Schedule

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Embry-Riddle baseball Head Coach Randy Stegall announced the Eagles' 2024 schedule, which includes 25 home contests and the return of the GSC/SSC Clash to Sliwa Stadium. In its 16th season under Stegall's guidance, Embry-Riddle looks to make the postseason for the second time since joining NCAA Division II.

The Eagles, which finished last season with an improved 25-23 record, wrapped up the 2023 campaign on a high note, earning a solid three-game sweep of SSC foe and No. 3 Rollins. Rollins eventually found itself playing for a national title last June as the No. 4 seed in the NCAA DII Championship, and is one of four teams (Tampa, Barry and Florida Southern) on ERAU's schedule to appear in the 2023 NCAA tournament.

To start the 2024 season, the Blue and Gold hit the road running with the second edition of the Gulf South Conference/Sunshine State Conference Clash at Sliwa Stadium Feb. 2-4. The Eagles welcome in the University of Montevallo, Alabama Huntsville and Rollins to Daytona Beach, with each team playing three games over the three-day period. This will be the first ever meeting on the diamond between the Eagles and both Montevallo and Alabama Huntsville.

The campaign continues with a road trip to Auburn Montgomery (Feb. 9-11), before a single home game against Edward Waters on Feb. 13. The Eagles will repay a visit to Edward Waters later in the year, on April 16, to conclude the series.

Feb. 23-25, ERAU kicks off SSC play in Winter Park, doing battle with Rollins prior to a one-game trip to Valdosta, Ga., to take on former ERAU skipper Greg Guilliams and his Blazers on March 5. The two will meet for another one-off game on April 23 in Daytona Beach.

Four nonconference games against northern schools follow, as Embry-Riddle will square off for two games with Minnesota State-Mankato on Feb. 28 and 29, followed by a one game set with both Minnesota Crookston and Northwood (MI) to open up the month of March. The Eagles then take on two more nonconference foes in Thomas More and Minnesota Duluth at neutral sites yet to be determined. Following those games, the Eagles will take a trip to the low country to take on Savannah State (March 12) and South Carolina Beaufort (March 13) in Georgia and South Carolina, respectively.

Embry-Riddle marches fully into its SSC schedule trading off home and away conference series. First, a visit from perennial power Tampa (March 15-17) at Sliwa Stadium, then a road trip to Saint Leo (March 22-23), followed by a visit from Florida Tech on March 29-30.

A home-and-home series with Flagler (April 2 and 9) sandwiches a trip to Lynn (April 5-6), before the Eagles head down to Ft. Lauderdale to take on Nova Southeastern April 12-13. Three of the last four conference series will be played at Sliwa Stadium as the Eagles play host to Palm Beach Atlantic (April 19-20) and Florida Southern (April 26-28) before heading to Eckerd on May 3-4. Finally, the Blue and Gold will wrap up the 2024 slate with a visit from Barry on May 10-11.

The NCAA II Baseball Championship is set for June 1-8 at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, N.C.
