WINTER PARK, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle women's tennis team found success in its return to Sunshine State Conference play on Friday as the No. 31 Eagles dropped No. 46 Rollins 4-3 at Copeland Stadium. Both teams won three singles matches each, but Embry-Riddle got the all-important doubles point to move to 8-5 overall and 2-4 in the SSC. The Tars are 6-6 on the year with a 2-3 record in the league.

The scoring started with Sabrina Ehrenfort and Carla Cabero del Hierro's 6-0 shutout of Nata Collado Cordon and Eva Wasil at No. 2 doubles. Playing on court three, Jessica Christa Wira Hadipoernomo and Kaylee Kirivong wrapped up the doubles point for the Eagles with their 6-1, defeat of Milla Falster and Erin Yaroshuk.

The Tars were able to level the score when Maja Issler was forced to retire with an injury on court two. However the bottom half of the lineup came through for the Eagles starting with Wira Hadipoernomo's 6-2, 7-6 (5) win against Polina Ligay at the fourth spot. Ehrenfort was next off the court following her 6-4, 6-3 win over Falster and Alessia Tripaldelli clinched the Eagle victory with a 6-2, 6-4 defeat of Yaroshuk at No. 6.
