DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Fall action continued for Embry-Riddle women's tennis as the Eagles hosted the ERAU Hidden Duals at the Crotty Tennis Complex in Daytona Beach. The Eagles hosted several teams across a three-day span, highlighting with several solid outings throughout the weekend.
Daniela Fernandez Junquera highlighted the weekend with a 3-0 outing in singles play, leaving an additional match unfinished on Sunday due to rain. 
Amelie Gindl and 
Lila Small also finished unbeaten in singles play with a 2-0 record each and an unfinished match.
Things got started on a positive note on Friday with a doubles victory against Palm Beach Atlantic as the pairing of 
Mariana Cabrera and Fernandez Junquera took down Taylor Monfils and Daniela Ortiz Marcos with ease in a 6-0 victory. In singles play, 
Charly Egger, Cabrera, and Fernandez Junquera each picked up wins in singles play to continue the momentum.
Saturday featured a heavy slate of competition and a flurry of victories for the Eagles. In doubles play, Embry-Riddle finished the day 5-2, led by a sweep of Flagler in the afternoon. As for singles, ERAU picked up wins from 
Benedetta Sensi and Gindl over Hillsborough, following up with three wins over Flagler coming from 
Franziska Kremerskothen, Fernandez Junquera, and Small.
As for Sunday, Embry-Riddle capped off with an impressive performance across doubles matches winning five of the six doubles match ups. 
Ashley Moinard and 
Caroline DelSignore paired up for a 6-0 win over PBA's Buhagiar and Celis to highlight doubles action.
In Sunday singles, ERAU was 7-0 before the second wave of matches were cut short to rain. Gindl, Cuesta Bret, Moinard, Kremerskothen, and Bourk all gathered straight set wins in singles play. Embry-Riddle led in five of the seven matches that were left incomplete as well.
Embry-Riddle will return to action on Oct. 31 through Nov. 2 at the Stetson Invitational at the Mandy Stoll Tennis Center in DeLand, Fla.
