DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The No.4 Embry-Riddle women's tennis team (4-0) had a historic win on Monday against Sunshine State Conference opponent No.3 Lynn (3-2), 4-3. This is the first time the Eagles have outplayed the Fighting Knights, in 19 meetings.

Doubles: Singles
  • Playing at No. 2 singles, Laura Cuesta Bret faced a challenging opponent in Kristen Younes losing the first set 6-1. Cuesta Bret quickly turned things around as the sophomore found her rhythm 6-3, taking the Fighting Knight into a full third set. The set was close with both players giving their all, but Cuesta Bret came out on top winning 7-5.
  • Sensi, at No.4, faced an early break and went 3-0 down but quickly found her rhythm winning 6-4, 6-0 over Garber.
  • The clinching point came from freshman Franziska Kremerskothen at No.6 who won 6-0, 6-3 against Kailey Lizano.
