WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle men's lacrosse put together a late rally in the fourth quarter but the Eagles were unable to catch up to Palm Beach Atlantic (RV), falling to the Sailfish 20-16 on the road on Friday. The loss puts the Eagles at 1-3 on the year, while the Sailfish improve to 3-0.

Leo Mileto had a breakout game for the Blue & Gold leading all Eagles players with four goals, marking the first multi-goal performance of his career. Trey Dring and Christian Hofer scored three goals apiece while Elek Zubor won 13 face offs for the Eagles who best the Sailfish 20-18 in that category.

First Quarter

• The Sailfish scored five unanswered to take a 7-2 lead at the end of the first 15 minutes.

Second Quarter

• At the 7:49 mark, Hofer picked up a ground ball off a save on an Abbes shot and scored the Eagles third goal of the game.
• Trailing 10-3, the Eagles got goals from Tim Keefe, Mileto and Dring to reduce the deficit to five (11-6), but the Sailfish scored twice in the 16 seconds to increase their lead to 13-6 at the half.

Third Quarter
• Both teams were scoreless through the first five minutes of the third.
• The Eagles, with goals from Dring, Abbes, Jay Kyle and Luke Barber, matched the Sailfish' four-goal output with four goals of their own.
• Heading to the fourth, the Sailfish lead remained at seven (17-10).
