Softball Records Two Extra-Inning Walk-Off Victories Over USC Beaufort

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Embry-Riddle Softball needed 19 innings to get a pair of wins against South Carolina Beaufort on Wednesday. It was a pitcher's duel in game one where the Eagles recorded a 2-1 win in eight innings after a walk-off hit-by-pitch. Game two was another impressive showing between the two pitching staffs and ended with one more Eagles win after a Leah Oberkehr walk-off single in the 11th inning.

Emma Wood once again put together a fantastic day for the Blue and Gold. The junior had two hits, two RBI, and 7.2 shutout innings out of the bullpen this afternoon. Mallory Kinahan (5-3) picked up two wins today and has now tied the program record for career wins (36).
