DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The 16th-ranked Embry-Riddle men's lacrosse team earned its third Sunshine State Conference win of the season with a 12-10 defeat of rival Florida Tech (RV), Saturday at the ERAU Lacrosse Field.
The Eagles also recognized the 2025 senior class and senior
Pete Abbes celebrated with a personal milestone as his team-high four goals pushed him over the 100-career-goal mark.

First Quarter
• The Panthers got out to a fast start scoring three unanswered goals in the first four and a half minutes.
• At the 10:58 mark, Abbes finished a feed from fellow senior
Joe Anderson to halt the Panthers' scoring run.
• The Eagles dominated the remainder of the quarter outscoring the Panthers 4-0, with three of those goals coming from Abbes, to lead 6-3 at the end of the period.
Second Quarter
• Once again, the Panthers opened the second quarter by scoring the first three goals to tie the score at 6-6.
• In the last 5:17, Keefe scored two unassisted goals, including taking advantage of a man-up opportunity, to give the Eagles an 8-6 lead at the half.
Third Quarter
• Florida Tech had the better of the third quarter, outscoring the Eagles 3-1.

Trey Dring scored the first run of the frame to reclaim a three-goal lead for the Blue & Gold, but the Panthers went on another three-goal run.
• Heading into the fourth the score was tied at 9-9.
Fourth Quarter
• Five minutes into the fourth, Keefe ended a scoreless drought for both teams by finishing a Dring feed from behind the cage to put the Eagles up 10-9.
• The Eagles clung to the one-goal edge for the next seven and a half minutes until Cornwell tied the score with 2:48 left to play.
• Nineteen seconds after the Eagles won the ensuing faceoff, Keefe found
Lucas Anthony for the freshman's only score of the game.
• After a Panther turnover, the Eagles called a timeout with 24 seconds left in regulation.
• Senior
Christian Hofer had the ball in his crosse on the reset and the senior drove all the way to goal, scoring with 11 seconds left to seal the win for the Eagles.
