Softball Secures Eleventh-Straight Winning Season With Sweep of Lynn

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Embry-Riddle Softball locked up another successful year as the Eagles secured their 11th-consecutive season with a winning record thanks to a doubleheader sweep (11-3, 4-0) of Lynn on Saturday. That moved ERAU nine games over .500 with just six remaining in the regular season.

It was another strong defensive effort by the Blue and Gold this weekend. Embry-Riddle held the Fighting Knights to just four runs and 11 hits over three games to earn its second sweep of the season against an SSC opponent.

Because the series was originally scheduled to be at Lynn but relocated due to field maintenance, Embry-Riddle was the 'road' team despite playing on its home field.
