DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The fourth-ranked Embry-Riddle women's lacrosse team celebrated Senior Day with a 20-12 win over rival No. 20 Florida Tech in Sunshine State Conference action on Saturday. The Eagles withstood a fierce second-quarter rally by the Panthers to secure their 14th win of the season, which stands as the most wins in a single season in program history. The Eagles have also won a program-best five conference games this season.
Senior
Kenley Zeruto cemented herself as one of the best to don the Blue & Gold as she bettered the single-season assist record she set a year ago. With three assists for Zeruto today, that record now stands at 53.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First Quarter
•
Caitlin Gavin opened the scoring with a goal just 50 seconds into the contest.
• The first 15 minutes of play saw the Eagles score early and often, racing out to a 7-1 lead in the first 10 minutes.
• The Panthers got their second goal with 2:39 left to play, but Reich answered for the Eagles 39 seconds later to give the ERAU an 8-2 lead at the end of the first.
Second Quarter
• Florida Tech came out strong to start the second and carried that momentum through entire quarter.
• The Panthers scored four times before the Eagles were able to net their first goal of the frame which came from Rogala.
• Florida Tech outscored the Eagles 7-1 in the second and the half, the Eagle lead was 10-9.
Third Quarter
• The Panthers scored the first goal of the third to tie the score at 10-10.
• Reich countered for the Eagles less than a minute later and her goal started a 7-0 run that gave the Blue & Gold a 17-10 lead at the end of the third.
• The Eagles outshot the Panthers 11-3 in the third, including a 10-1 advantage in shots on goal, and won the draw 7-1.
Fourth Quarter
• It took nearly seven minutes for either team to score a goal in the fourth quarter.
• At the 8:03 mark, the Eagles turned offense into defense as
Natalie Jansky picked up a ground ball after
Kaitlyn Henry caused a turnover and the ball made its way to Rogala whose final goal of the day put the Eagles up 18-10.
• The Panthers managed to get two goals back late, but ERAU got two goals in quick succession in the last 1:26 as Zeruto fed
Callison Foreman before finishing a pass from Gavin to seal the win.
