Women's Lacrosse Soars to Share of SSC Regular Season Title with Win Over No. 6 Lynn

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The fourth-ranked Embry-Riddle women's lacrosse team made history on Wednesday, securing a share of the Sunshine State Conference (SSC) regular season championship for the first time in program history with a commanding 13-7 win over No. 6 Lynn. The victory not only sealed the Eagles' spot in the conference standings but also marked their 15th regular-season win — the most in a single season in program history.

RECORDS
No.4 ERAU | 15-2 (SSC 6-1)
No.6 LYNN | 14-3 (SSC 4-3)

ALL-TIME
  • With the win, the all-time series between the Eagles and the Fighting Knights stands at 3-2 in Lynn's favor.
  • The Eagles avenged a narrow 14-13 non-conference loss to Lynn earlier this season in February.
HOW IT HAPPENED
First Quarter
  • Both defenses were locked in early, holding each other scoreless for the first seven minutes.
  • Lynn broke the deadlock, but Eliana Enners responded with an unassisted goal to ignite the Eagles' offense.
  • Callison Foreman and Kenley Zeruto added goals to close out the quarter with a 3-1 lead.
Second Quarter
  • Enners struck again to open the second quarter, extending ERAU's momentum.
  • Lynn responded with back-to-back goals, but Natalie Jansky's 31st goal of the season regained control for the Eagles.
  • The half ended 5-3 in favor of ERAU, with goalkeeper Ella-Rae Cox making seven key saves to anchor the defense.
Third Quarter
  • Ava Rogala opened the second half scoring, and the Eagles scored two more goals in quick succession to build a 9-4 lead.
  • ERAU's defense was impenetrable limiting Lynn to just one shot on goal in the quarter, marking the lowest of the game.
Fourth Quarter
  • Foreman pushed ERAU into double digits early in the fourth, followed by another quick goal, seconds later from Zeruto.
  • Two more goals sealed the 13-7 win and secured the program's first share of the SSC Regular Season Championship, tying with Tampa and Florida Southern.
