Women’s Golf Completes Day One of SSC Championship

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. - Embry-Riddle Women's Golf completed the first round of the Sunshine State Conference Championship on Sunday with a 315 to sit in 10th. Savannah Hawthorne led the way with a 76 to tie for 25th on the individual leaderboard.

All teams in the tournament are ranked inside the top-40 of the latest Clippd rankings.

Jasmine Yang (78) | T-30th

Yang also matched her lowest opening round of the season.
She tied Hawthorne for the most birdies on the team (2).
The senior was one under on par-5s, which tied for the seventh-best average (4.67) on such holes.

Eden Tsouklaris (80) | T-39th

Tsouklaris earned a birdie on the par-5, 385-yard hole No. 13.

Loa Johannsson (81) | 44th

Johannsson entered the tournament ranked No. 53 individually.
She started her round well with six-consecutive pars.
Johannsson's 11 pars were a team high.

Drum closed her round out with four-straight pars.
