Men’s Golf Earns First-Ever Bid to NCAA II Regional

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The historic season continues for Embry-Riddle Men's Golf as the Eagles were one of 10 teams in the South Region selected to compete in the NCAA II South/Southeast Regional. This is the program's first-ever appearance as a team in an NCAA II Regional, though the program did compete at the NAIA Championships on five separate occasions. Embry-Riddle also sent an individual to a regional in both 2021 and 2022.

ERAU is coming off its best-ever finish at the SSC Championship, tying for second in the ten-team field. The Eagles also set team program records for single-round (260) and three-round (837) scores during the squad's win at the Shark Invitational.

The full 20-team South/Southeast Regional field was revealed on Friday afternoon. The South Region is composed of seven Sunshine State Conference members, two Gulf South Conference members, and the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference champion. The regional includes 13 programs ranked inside the top-25 of the latest Clippd national rankings, such as No. 2 West Florida, No. 3 Lincoln Memorial, No. 4 North Georiga, No. 5 Georgia Southwestern State, No. 7 Lee, No. 9 South Carolina Aiken, No. 10 Florida Southern, No. 13 Columbus State, No. 14 Wingate, No. 16 Lander, No. 18 Rollins, No. 20 Nova Southeastern and No. 25 Lenoir-Rhyne.

The South/Southeast Regional will be hosted by Rollins at the Mission Resort and Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida. Play begins on May 8 with the first round of play followed by the second round on May 9 and the third round on May 10.
