DADE CITY, Fla. – Embry-Riddle men's golf competed at the Sunshine State Conference Championship this week at the Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club in Dade City, Florida.

The Eagles finished 10th in the tournament with a three-round total of 917 (+53) for the two-day event at the 7,054-yard, par 72 course.

Highlighting the tournament for ERAU were Ian Ball and Rafael Guerrero's second round scores of 74 (+2) on Monday. Embry-Riddle played 36 holes on Monday and closed with a final 18 on Tuesday.

• Opened the first day with a four-over 76 before closing with a two-over 74 to sit T-25th.
• Finished with a five-over 77 on Tuesday, posting a birdie on hole 14.
• Totaled four birdies and 34 pars for the week. Ranked T-8th in total pars.

Jacob Salazar – (76-76-78=230, +14) | 38th

• Produced 28 total pars for the week and recorded an eagle on the par five ninth hole in the final round.
• Opened with a first-round 76 that saw three birdies through holes 1-9, shooting even-par on the front. 

Ryan Gear – (77-76-78=231, +15) | T-39th

• Opened with a 77 (+5) and followed with a 76 (+4) before closing with a 78 (+6).
• Second on the team with eight total birdies, including four in round two.

Rafael Guerrero – (81-74-78=233, +17) | T-41st

• After a slow start in round one, Guerrero bounced back with a two-over 74 in round two.
• Posted an eagle on the par four 17th hole to finish three-under in the last five holes of the second round.

Edoardo Scialanga – (77-78-80=235, +19) | 44th

• Lit-up holes 10-18 in the first round, posting a four-under 32 on the way to a five-over 77 for the round.
• Led the team with nine total birdies for the week.
