DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle men's tennis team earned redemption in the Sunshine State Conference (SSC) tournament, defeating Rollins 4-2 in the quarterfinals to avenge an early-season loss. The win marks the Eagles' first win over the Tars since 2022. The SSC Championship uses a clinch format, where the first team to four points secures the victory, and all remaining matches go unfinished.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- ERAU adjusted its doubles lineup from the last matchup, and the changes paid off.
- Wilson Igbinovia and Alvaro Diaz Rodrigo, as a new No. 3 pairing, dominated Pietro Cappallaro and Nico de Giacomo comfortably, 6-2.
- At No.2, Cisco Mason and Enrico Rosellini secured the doubles point with a composed 6-4 win over Mo Anterist and Fabian Guisic needing just one service break.
- Cisco struck first in singles at No. 6, claiming revenge on Cappellaro, who had beaten him earlier in the year, with a commanding 6-2, 6-1 win.
- At No. 1, Igbinovia battled back from a set down against Luke Quaynor, winning a thrilling matchup, 4-6, 7-5, 6-3.
- With the match on the line, Diaz Rodrigo and Rosellini both battled hard in their three-set marathons. Rosellini came through again, clinching the team victory at No. 2 with a gritty 6-1, 4-6, 6-4 win over Giacomo.
