Men's and Women's Track & Field Sweeps PBC Honors

MARTINEZ, Ga. - Men's and women's Track and Field swept this weeks PBC honors after a great performance during the Embry-Riddle Running Elements Classic. 

K'Anthony Benjamin has earned PBC Male Track Athlete of the Week following a record-breaking performance and two top 10 finishes. He set a new ERAU school record in the 200m during the prelims with a time of 21.11 and placed third in the finals. Additionally, he secured third place in the 100m with a time of 10.50, which is now the third-fastest sprint in ERAU history.

Taylor Roth has been named PBC Women's Track Athlete of the Week after winning the 800m, securing a first place finish with a time of 2:09.35.

Antonio Caito set an ERAU record with a 15.78m jump in the triple jump, securing first place. His performance earned him the NCAA Division II provisional mark, and he is currently ranked first in the NCAA Division II for the event. These achievements led to him being named PBS Male Field Athlete of the Week.

The final honor went to Maxi Kirschner, who earned Women's Field Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week following another first-place finish. She recorded the fourth-furthest throw in the ERAU record books, reaching 44.47m, and achieved the NCAA II provisional standard.
