DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.- The No.4 Embry-Riddle women's tennis team played at home today against No.33 Florida Southern. ERAU suffered a narrow 4-3 defeat against the Mocs, at the Crotty Tennis Complex.

ALL-TIME SERIES 

• The Eagles trail the all-time series 7-10 to the Mocs. 

• ERAU won the previous two matchups against Florida Southern.  

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• At No.3 doubles, Jessica Christa Wira Hadipoernomo and Charly Egger proved to be a strong duo, with a convincing 6-3 win over Annika Berrendorf and Jolie Miller.  

• No.1 and No.2 doubles both fell short today, consequently allowing the Mocs to take the early advantage. 

• The singles started off strong with Wira Hadipoernomo remaining undefeated for the day, cruising to a dominant 6-2, 6-0 win over Beatriz Costa at No. 2. 

• Carla Cabero del Hierro delivered a straight-set win, 6-3, 6-4, against Emily Jennewein at No.5. 

• The last win of the day came from Franziska Kremerskothen who showcased resilience at No.4, with a come back win against Annika Berrendorf 3-6, 6-2, 6-1.
