Reigning National Champions Unveil 2025-26 Schedule

| By:
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — The 2025 NCAA Division II National Champions will soon be back on the water as Head Coach Grant Maddock has revealed the schedule for the upcoming season. For the first time in program history, the Eagles will race at home three times, highlighted by two spring duals and a fall regatta.

Embry-Riddle will begin its season by heading south for its first ever dual against the Hurricanes from the University of Miami on Oct. 4. The following weekend, the Eagles will participate in the First Coast Head Race (Oct. 11) in Jacksonville, Florida.

The fall season wraps up back home in Daytona Beach, where Embry-Riddle will host Jacksonville, Florida Tech, Stetson, and Barry at the Florida Fall Invite.

ERAU will stay at home to begin the spring season, with back-to-back duals on the Halifax River. On February 28, it will be a rematch between the Eagles and the Hurricanes. The next weekend provides more Division I competition for the Blue and Gold as they have a dual against UCF at home (Mar. 6).

There will be some familiar competition when ERAU competes against Rollins and Barry in Winter Park, Florida. (Mar. 7) for its first road trip of the spring. A short trip up I-4 to Stetson will see the Eagles battle the Hatters on March 14 along with Jacksonville and Wesleyan.

The first chance for a championship comes on March 29 when Embry-Riddle will compete in the Florida Intercollegiate Rowing Association (FIRA) Championships. ERAU has won back-to-back state titles and will be looking to make it three in a row in early 2026.

The Eagles will be wrapping up their regular season on April 5 with their first ever appearance in the D2 Invite in Clermont, Florida.

Another championship opportunity comes around on April 24 where Embry-Riddle will look to win its fifth consecutive SSC championship at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Florida.

After that, the Eagles will look forward to Monday, May 18th when the NCAA announces which six teams have qualified for the Division II Championship. If chosen, the national championship races will be held in Gainesville, Georgia. on May 29-30.
