MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Sunshine State Conference released its 2026 women's tennis preseason coaches poll on Thursday, with Embry-Riddle projected to finish third in the conference.
The prediction comes after the Eagles were ranked seventh in the ITA Division II Preseason Top 25. Barry University and Nova Southeastern, ranked No. 1 and No. 2 nationally in the ITA preseason poll, sit ahead of the Blue & Gold in the SSC rankings.
Embry-Riddle earned a marquee victory over Nova Southeastern on March 29 last season and will look to replicate that success in 2026, while also aiming to upset defending NCAA Division II National Champion Barry University in pursuit of an SSC title and a berth in the national tournament.
