LAKELAND, Florida – The quarterfinal round of the 2026 ITA DII South Regional Men's Tournament will feature three individuals and one doubles team from Embry-Riddle.
 
The first win for the Eagles came on the doubles court where fourth-seeded Marc Mail and Enrico Rosellini topped Eckerd's Mario Kirkov and Amirali Ghavam 8-3 on Friday morning. Mail and Rosellini followed with an 8-2 defeat of Florida Southern's Mehmet Onur Turgut and Hunter Nussbaum on Saturday morning. The Eagle duo will face No. 5 Matias Iturbe and Kuzma Gomziakov of West Alabama on Sunday morning.
 
Joao Morgado picked up the Eagles' first singles win with a 6-2, 6-2 defeat of Saint Leo's Shay Sarfati and advanced to the round of 16 with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Mississippi College's Julius Tan.
 
Fifth-seeded Rosellini notched three straight-set victories to reach the quarterfinal round, besting Lee's Johan Van Wijk (6-2, 6-2), FSC's Youssef Elshafei (6-4, 6-4) and Barry's Cooper Dillon (7-5, 6-2) to advance.
 
Manuel Lanteri battled through a three-setter in the first round, topping Saint Leo's Kodai Kato 4-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-8). In the next two rounds the senior downed Kirkov 6-2, 2-1 (ret.) and Lee's Oliver Wilcox 6-2, 6-3 to secure his spot in the quarterfinals.
 
The tournament's No. 3 seed, Mail secured an easy 6-3, 6-1 victory against Lee's Joris Clermonts, but faced a tough test in the second round against Auburn Montgomery's Guillermo Vedia Sanchez. Vedia Sanchez took the first set 6-4, but Mail pulled out a 7-6 (10-8) win in the second before winning the super tiebreaker 10-8 to move on to the next round. Mail's opponent in the round of 16 was Noe Milliard and this time, the ERAU senior wrapped things up in two sets, besting Milliard 6-4, 6-3 to advance to the quarterfinals.
 
Doubles quarterfinal action gets underway at 9 a.m. on Sunday followed by singles at 1 p.m. All four quarterfinal singles matches being played simultaneously.
