VALDOSTA, Ga. – The No.7 Embry-Riddle women's tennis team remained perfect on the season Saturday, improving to 6-0 with a comeback victory over Valdosta State.
After dropping the doubles point for the first time this year and falling behind 3-2 in singles play, the Eagles responded by winning the final two matches to secure the win.

HOW IT HAPPNED
- Embry-Riddle earned its first point of the match at No. 4 singles, where Benedetta Sensi defeated Charleigh Fay, 6-0, 6-2.
- Franziska Kremerskothen followed with a 6-2, 6-0 victory over Kitti Nemeth at No. 6 singles to give the Eagles a 2-1 advantage.
- Valdosta State picked up wins at No. 2 and No. 3 singles to take a 3-2 lead.
- At No. 1 singles, Amelie Gindl battled through a three-set clash to even the match, defeating Lena Beckx, 6-2, 4-6, 6-1.
- Moments later, Ashley Moinard completed the comeback in another thrilling three-set contest, sealing the victory with a 6-2, 5-7, 6-4 win at No. 5 singles.
